We have used an Arctic Sammy 10 meter long line leash for Luna our husky/golden retriever cross everyday for nearly 2 years. The long line is an invaluable tool for both training and safety. It is robust and doesn't tangle even on the roughest trails. It allows her the freedom to explore, and to meet and greet other dogs and people while we are still in control. Any undesirable behaviour can be stopped before it happens and allows us to be the mentors in tricky situations. We would highly recommended using the Arctic Sammy long line leash.
Good, thick and strong. A bit heavy for use with puppy, will be great when she's a bit older.
Recently purchased this longline, well worth the money spent. Super light weight and robust. Love the orange colour for visibility. And the traffic handle works a treat, especially when my big lad spotted a kereru a little too close for comfort. 100% recommend for outdoor adventures when you have a dog that’s not fully reliable with recall or out exploring in on lead only areas.
Awesome .. as always..my old longline was full of knots so when Sika pulled on line i had something to grip with otherwise have no skin on hands left..lol..so cool have a line with rubbery grip an the handle to be able to attach as well..can't recommend your gear enough..💜💜..now have👀👀 on your new waterproof collar..Any chance they come out in purple..💜
I love this leash. I have a 4 and a half month old Golden Retriever puppy and this is perfect for him. I bought the black 5 metre leash and also bought the extra handle for it, but in orange. With the orange handle it is easier to see. The leash is light weight, great in water as it doesn't get waterlogged. The leash has a good grip to it, doesn't slide out of your hands if wet.
The perfect training tool. Also will be good for scent work classes when he is older.

Yes it is! However, we believe it may not be the best choice for toy breeds like Chihuahuas or fully grown dogs under 3kg, as the hardware might still feel a bit bulky for them.
No, it doesn’t get heavy when wet — the material is water-repellent and doesn’t soak up moisture like others, so it stays lightweight even in rain or after a swim.
