Worldwide!

It depends on where you are. We usuallly ship all order within 24h (except custom made products). Orders within New Zealand usually take 1 - 3 business days to be delivered. Shipments to Australia arrive within 3-5 days with DHL Express while all other countries can take up to 10-12 days to be delivered. Sometimes it might be a bit longer if the package gets stuck in your countries’ customs. We will keep you up to date with a tracking link being send out after your order has been shipped.

First, track your order here and check the current courier status. If your order is marked as "delivered" but is no where to be found, please wait 1-2 days. Sometimes NZ post accidentally marks orders as "delivered". Otherwise, please feel free to reach out to us at mail@arcticsammy.co.nz and we will sort things out for you.

This is as easy as ordering it in the first place! If you have chosen the wrong size, don't like the colour or simply don't like your new gear, head over to our resolution center. It will guide you through all steps you have to take - we will take care of the rest for you.

You can return your items up to 30 days after purchase.

Whether you are looking to get a new collar or harness for your pup, the right size is crucial to ensure comfort and safety for your dog. Make sure you follow our measuring instructions and compare it to our size charts. Or have a look at our Sizing Corner to see different breeds wearing our gear!

Yes you can! Wash the rope by hand and use warm water and mild soap. Thoroughly swish the rope around, then drain the dirty water. Repeat until the water runs clean. Hang to dry.

Even though you took good care measuring your dog, these things can happen. Having gear that doesn't fit is unsafe and is nothing we support or want for you or your pup. Please visit our Resolution Center or send us an email at mail@arcticsammy.co.nz so we can arrange a new one for you.

Can you think about any stronger material for a dog lead (besides of metal or diamonds)? This is why! Climbing rope is designed NOT to fail as this would literally mean death for the man on the other end. Not just is climbing rope incredible strong, it also doesn't absorb as much water and never mildews. And they look really cool :)

All our leashes and collars are strength tested in a electromechanical test machine before we make them available to you. We pretty much take our gear and shred it to pieces!

Yes! We only use aluminium and stainless steel fittings and carabiner for our leads and collars which are rust free and extremily durable.

Yes - as long as you use the dog gear like you would use any other dog gear! As all of us dog owners know, a dog can chew through anything they put their mind to, so as long as you're not giving the leash, collar, or other products to your dog as a chew toy, we can guarantee it'll last. Any product that shows obvious signs they've been chewing on the product we cannot cover as it clearly does not fall within the normal use intention stated above.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with our products. If your dog should decide they don't like their gear you can return your products back to us. The item must still be in new and unused condition and free of any fur. Please email to hello@arcticsammy.co.nz for return instructions or head over to our resolution center. Return shipping is paid for by the customer.

Almost. We are making all leashes, collars, keyrings and ID Tags by hand in Christchurch.

We started our Arctic Sammy Donations Program to be able to help out the amazing people running (often under-funded) rescues and shelters around the globe. The program is simple - we donate 1NZD for every purchase made here on arcticsammy.co.nz. To top it up, customers are now able to add a donation to their order as well! Together we can raise money which is urgently needed to help those that have been left behind. Every couple of months we choose a different rescue or shelter to receive the donation to make sure we cover as much ground as possible. Donations allow foundations and shelters to cover medical needs, supplies and to continue saving lives. 

It all started with our dog Loki who is a Samoyed ("Sammy"), who are part of the "Arctic" Dog Breeds. Together, this makes Arctic Sammy!

First and foremost, we believe in long lasting gear to avoid products ending up in landfill. the longer your gear lasts, the better for the planet (and your wallet). We also reduce our carbon footprint by minimising packaging and using eco friendly paper and cardboard for our shipments. We drive as little as possible with fuel efficient cars, buy as much as we can from local suppliers and choose materials with no toxins, made by sustainable suppliers.
