There are too many good reasons for using a Martingale Collar so we try to keep it short! Great for very fluffy dogs (no tangled fur) and dog's with narrow heads (escape proof). Convenience, safety and comfort - all in one.
Yes! Simply adjust the collar as you would with any other regular collar.
The right size is crucial when using a martingale collar. It should not be too loose and hang down the neck but also not too tight to cause your dog discomfort. As the collar does not open and slips over your dog's head, the head circumference determines the right size for your dog.
No. The integrated stopper prevents the collar from infinite tightening. This means that once your dog is on leash and pulls, the collar tightens to your desired point. This is not a choking collar and very safe to use when properly adjusted.
We recommend using a flat collar for a puppy. Our adjustable collars are perfect for puppies!

Great quality, well made
I used to be a BioThane girl with collars due to them being waterproof. But I didn’t like how stiff they are around the neck. The Arctic Sammy collars are awesome as they still repel water but they are so soft for them to wear! The Martingale is easy to use and safe and I wouldn’t ever use another after using this. Love the colour and durability. Bonnie looks stunning in it. 💜
Perfect fit for my little Tin Tin. Collar is easily adjustable and feels very strong. Previous collar had the metal / steel portion and it was staining her fur. Very happy with this full material version. Used it on many walks and feels more gentle than the steel one!
